Highland Cow At Deel's Hill

I was photographing the runners on the Montane Cheviot Goat Ultra, a 55 mile fell run in the Cheviot Hills. I was at Copper Snout in the morning and headed up the valley to Deel’s Hill in the afternoon. As I waited, a number of highland cows kept me company and I managed to get one to pose beautifully in some lovely golden light from a setting winter’s sun.
