The North East is blessed with some fantastic beaches and it’s hard to pick a favourite. If I just want a quiet day, taking photographs, I’ll always head to Ross Sands, there’s often more seals than people here. It’s a bit of a walk through the dunes from Ross, but as I emerged onto the beech on a warm June morning, this was my view towards Lindisfarne and the first photograph of the day.
